If they average out your huge bandwidth limit over 30 days you would need to reach your daily limit every single day to actually reach your monthly allotment. It's impossible. Plus, If you have a bandwidth spike that exceeds your daily limit your out of luck, your site will go down until the next 24 hour cycle starts. 3) We're sure you know someone if it hasn't happen to you. That signed up with a low cost host offering the world and claiming to have backups. Only to find out when there's a hardware failure that they don't and you just lost all your files. Besides the server itself the backup system is probably one of the largest costs when starting a hosting company. Low cost host that purchase cheap servers usually skimp on things they think they will never need. Servers are computers and computers fail. It's rare but It happens and you got to be ready for it.
